We want to celebrate New Years Eve in Chicago with you at a very special #Sweatworking! This year it feels like #Sweatworking went around the world and back again. We had a Dry Triathlon at Equinox, a full-on series with Chicago Athletic Association, meal prepped with KitchFix, paddle boarded on the lake with Chicago Paddle Co.took on an adventure with The North Face, did a HIIT workout at SPiN, the ping pong club … oh and made it through #SweatworkingWeek (Round One … hint hint).

And that barely scratches the surface of all the workouts we’ve taken on. Considering all this amazingness, it only seems fitting that we round out the year with one final #Sweatworking – on the very last day of 2016.

#Sweatworking partnered with Chicago Sport & Social, which is producing the first ever 5K race and Fun Run to go through both Millennium Park and Maggie Daly park. On December 31, Chi-Town rising’s second annual event will start with this race, the Chi-Town Rise & Shine 5K.

This year, the New Year’s Eve party is kicking off first thing in the morning with a timed race and fun run. All proceeds will support Special Olympics Chicago.

We snagged 50 of these tickets for #Sweatworking attendees and in addition to all the goods you’ll get with your ticket – pom pom hat, touch screen gloves, hot chocolate, warming blankets at the finish line and a post-race party at Sweetwater Tavern with free beer or mimosas – your #Sweatworking ticket includes our newest aSweatLife swag, black snapback hats, that we haven’t shared with anyone yet.

With a race like this that’s packed with Chicagoans from all over the city, you’re sure to have 50 familiar faces to run, mingle and jump start your New Year’s Eve festivities with. And at the race’s after party, we’re #LivingaSweatLife in VIP style with a table that’s just for our running crew.

Sound like a pretty sweet way to say goodbye to this year and welcome 2017? Grab your ticket here.
