Labor Day: Packing for Fitness

packing essentials

I’m on a three week wedding bender, wrapping up at a love-fest in Seattle. If your travel schedule has been anything like mine this summer, packing for fitness is an essential.

On my must-pack list: a resistance band, a jump rope and a pair of running shoes. If you pack right, the band and the jump rope can fit in your shoes. Boom. Fitness to go.

With the resistance band, you can make your muscles sing without packing heavy weights. Try this total body resistance band workout from Greatist.

Jumping rope is one of the more efficient workouts that you can do. Try one of my favorites.

Why the running shoes? The best way to see any city is on foot and just a little bit faster. With City Running Tours,  you can take a city tour in 11 cities across the U.S. Win-Win-Win.
