NTC Summer Tour Hits Chicago

Save the date, Fab Fit Chicago readers: Saturday, June 7th, NTC Chicago will kick off their NTC Summer tour and it is not an event you will want to miss.

Here’s what you need to know:

So, what’s the NTC Summer Tour? It’s Nike’s Tour de Force, an innovative journey to build the biggest and most connected fitness club in North America, culminating in the biggest Chicago sporting event of the year: the Chicago Marathon.

The Journey will pop up in neighborhoods around Chicago (dates below), but the KICK OFF will be your official invitation to join Nike Training Club. You’ll learn how you can train with us throughout the summer and get inspired with access to experts and innovative products.

Wait, go back to the Summer Tour Kick OffIt takes place Saturday, June 7th, from 11am-1:30pm at the NTC Chicago Studio at 675 N. Michigan Ave. Without giving too many details away, you’ll learn about the best gear for your fitness goals, talk to experts, get a personal QR code to “scan in” at the summer’s workouts, and participate in a live art project that will embody the summer’s neighborhoods and workout goals.

QR Code? Are we living in the future? Kind of! The QR code will be the way that NTC keeps track of your engagement with the NTC Summer Tour – and in true Nike fashion, the more you participate, the better your chances are for some pretty sweet prizes.

Tell me a little more about these workouts. Led by the Nike Master Trainers you know, love, and kinda hate when they’re making you do burpees, workouts will take place across the city, rotating to new neighborhoods every weekend. The events will be catered to the special aspects of each neighborhood, but you won’t be limited to only attending one workout in YOUR neighborhood! Get out and go to every workout you can and explore your city!

And to give the workouts a special twist, music is THE focus of the workout. Live bands, DJ’s, music festivals, and more – you’ll definitely be pumped up with our tunes pushing you on!

Okay, I’m in. What other dates do I need to know?

  • June 7th:  Kick Off at NTC Studio Chicago.
  • June 14th: South Loop
  • June 21st: Logan Square
  • June 28th: Lincoln Park
  • July 10th: Flaunt Your Fit at NTC Studio Chicago. This is the celebration of a collection of bras unsurpassed by no one. We will get you fitted, highlight with style, and excite with Nike only access.
  • July 12: Pilsen
  • July 19th: West Loop
  • July 26th: Wicker Park
  • July 31st: Lolla Unplugged. The more you are engaged throughout the summer, the better your chances to attend. You won’t want to miss it!

Do I need to RSVP somewhere? YES! Sign up here for the kickoff and workouts you’re going to attend!

I’m so unbelievably geeked for this. Sign up and tell your friends! This is going to be a fitness-filled summer, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

    1. Hey there! The event will be running continuously from 11-1:30 and there will be lots of different stations to explore, so you can be a little flexible! I would try to get there close to your scheduled time though, just so the stations don’t get too crowded 🙂 And yes, wait for the kickoff on Saturday to get more information about signing up for the classes! I’m glad you’re so excited- keep the questions coming and say hi when you stop in!
