A 10-Minute Total Body Tone with Glenn Snellgrose
  • May 16, 2018
  • Last week, as I hopped into a barre class and grabbed my two-pound dumbbells, I noticed the man standing next to me opt for five’s and eight’s.

“First time here?” I asked, already knowing the answer. There’s no way any individual – no matter who you are or how strong you are – would opt for eight pound dumbbells if you know you’re about to hold them up and pulse them for 4-5 minutes at a time.

As a matter of fact, you don’t even need added weight at all to feel the effects of a total body toning class like what you’ll find in a barre class.

Glenn Snellgrose knows just what bodyweight movements will strengthen, lengthen, and tone the muscle groups you just don’t work in other weight training classes or workouts. In his Total Body Tone on the SweatWorking app, you’ll get 40+ minutes of a full body toning workout, from your core to glutes, quads to calves, biceps to triceps, and shoulders to chest.

With a background in dance and a love for performing, Glenn’s workouts are fun, energetic and will make you work up a sweat – and fast. But don’t underestimate the power of a bodyweight workout without cardio; your muscles will thank you for this complementary workout to yoga, running and high intensity interval training.

To get a taste of what Glenn has to offer on the app, try out his intro to Total Body Tone 1.0 here and if you like what you try, download the SweatWorking app and get started on your two-week free trial.
