Chicago Trainers: Get CECs and Learn to Train with Power Plates

(Get your ticket to the April 3 workshop here or the April 4 workshop here)

At #TrainersConnect, we aim to bring you community and connection among instructors and trainers you might not otherwise get to meet. In addition to that, we want to bring you affordable, unique opportunities to continue to grow you set of skills and your brand.

On April 3 and April 4, we’re partnering with Power Plate at 900 N. Michigan to bring you a special, additional #TrainersConnect opportunity that gets you continuing education credits. Take on this three-hour live workshop on either day (there are just 12 spots total on each day) and walk away from the afternoon with more knowledge to add to your resume.

What is the Power Plate?

Power Plate equipment is engineered to activate the body’s natural reflexive response to vibrations. The platform moves 25 to 50 times per second to engage muscles in a consistent and controlled manner. You may have seen this piece of equipment in one of your gyms where you train or work out, as you can perform many traditional exercises using it, resulting in a natural response that works your muscles harder while doing the same exercises.

What’s the Power Plate workshop all about?

This three-hour live workshop provides a practical introduction to the world of whole body vibration with Power Plate. Together we will experience how Power Plate can be used to prepare faster, perform better and recover quicker, enhancing any exercise typically performed on the ground.

Whether you are an individual user with personal fitness or health goals, a fitness professional, movement practitioner or clinician, our goal is to empower you with the skills, knowledge and confidence to successfully utilize Power Plate as a means to optimize results and enhance quality of life for you and your clients.

What does it cost and what does it get you?

This workshop costs you just $5 (normally $199) and you’ll obtain continuing education credits for your time (.4 CEC credits through ACE, AFAA and NASM).
