7 Brands to Support for Earth Day and All Year-Round
Earth Day is an annual global event celebrated every April 22. It’s held to demonstrate support for environmental protection — but we’re all for celebrating Earth Day every day.
Whether you’re an eco-friendly dog owner or creating an eco-friendly outdoor space this season, you can celebrate Earth Day every day by shopping the best sustainable brands. Below, we’ve rounded up some of our favorite Earth Day brands.

Earth Day brands
1. Beekeeper’s Naturals
This Earth Day — and every day — support one of the best sustainable brands with Beekeeper’s Naturals, while also working to protect your immune health.
Beekeeper’s Naturals is on a mission to save the bees. (How buzz-worthy!) They work exclusively with sustainable small-scale apiaries, partner with leading bee research institutions, and prioritize pesticide-free health above all else.
Whether you enjoy their bee pollen, complete gut health supplement (complete with postbiotics), or their propolis throat spray, Beekeeper’s Naturals is a great Earth-friendly brand to support all year-round.
2. Fresh Bellies
Looking for a mindful snack that’s delicious and great for both adults and kids alike? Oh, and the Earth as well — don’t forget the Earth. Grab a bag of Fresh Bellies, the first-ever savory kid brand that uses sorghum as its key ingredient. Sorghum is an ancient crop containing several long-term benefits for us and the planet.
Sorghum is a drought-resistant grain that’s gluten-free, low in fat, and rich in antioxidants, fiber, and protein (22 g per cup, to be exact). It’s also a minimally-processed crop. While other crops require higher maintenance, sorghum uses significantly less fertilizer and water to grow and maintain, making Fresh Bellies a perfect Earth Day brand to support throughout the year.
3. Planted Seeds
Let’s leave the land for a hot second and take a deep dive into the sea to check out a sustainable brand that’s ocean-focused — Planted Seeds. In partnership with local harvesters, they use innovative planting and seeding methods to cultivate their St. Lucia sea moss in a way that preserves the ocean’s natural balance.
Unlike wild harvesting, eco-farming of sea moss doesn’t involve stripping the entire plant from its natural habitat, which can have detrimental effects on the environment. Instead, Planted Seeds use a seeding method where only small sections of the plant are harvested, leaving the rest to regenerate and continue its natural growth cycle. This method ensures a consistent supply of sea moss while also preserving the delicate balance of the ocean’s ecosystem.
Their commitment to sustainable practices extends beyond our harvesting methods. They take measures to reduce their carbon footprint and waste, including the use of biodegradable packaging materials and partnering with local organizations to develop recycling programs.
4. Rowdy Mermaid
You may already have your own DIY compost bin set up at home (high five!), but take some time to research, seek out, and support brands that go the extra mile to reduce their environmental impact on the world.
For instance, one of my favorite kombucha brands, Rowdy Mermaid, donates their organic waste to the Boulder county compost collection, which ultimately helps to reduce their environmental impact on the planet to preserve it for generations to come.
They’re also proud to partner with CHaRM, an organization that collects all of those hard-to-recycle items like pallet wrap and styrofoam to help keep them out of landfills.
5. Shine Kitchen Co.®
Instead of buying bottle after bottle of cold-pressed juice, why not start making your own instead? If you have your own garden and grow fresh ingredients, create your own homemade juice using the Shine Kitchen Co.® Easy Cold Press Juicer right in your very own kitchen.
Not only will you be reducing the amount of glass and plastic bottles you purchase on a weekly basis, but you get to add any leftover pulp to recipes, like this delicious-looking Juice Pulp Quick Bread (yum) — or you can always compost it as well.
6. The NutraMilk
If you love a splash of oat milk in your morning latte or live for a dollop of peanut butter on your bowl of overnight oats, you may be purchasing packaged nut and seed butter and plant-based milk on the reg — which means lots of cardboard cartons and plastic jars. (Not ideal for Mother Earth.)
Instead of buying items that create more recycling, which is obviously more ideal than trashing it, invest in a machine that can whip up your own homemade nut and seed butter and milk in no time. Enter The NutraMilk.
With virtually no pulp left over except the skins of your nuts and seeds, there’s less waste and more nutrition. It is a win-win for the environment and for your health.
7. Wild Basin
If you like to live a little on the wild side, you may enjoy a can of Wild Basin hard seltzer. Wild Basin likes their hard seltzer like they like their planet — always ready for adventure, unspoiled, and untamed.
They believe everyone should have access to clean water and fresh air. (Us too.) That’s why a portion of every sale goes to their partner, Can’d Aid, to clean up waterways and restore public lands.
To date, Can’d Aid has raised over $4 million to lead cleanups to recycle 2.4 million pounds of waste around beaches and rivers, plant 8,000+ trees in deforested and eroded areas, and maintain and restore multi-use trails across the country. (Well, color us impressed.)
The bottom line on the best sustainable brands
Whether it’s Earth Day or just any random day, you can help protect the Earth with the brands you support by the purchases you make — so do your research and add these Earth Day brands to your shopping list. Happy Earth Day, everyone!
