Workout at home or on the road with Women’s Health Fit Club

A lot has been happening for FabFitChicago.com in 2014. To name a few milestones, we launched Sweatworking events and added Kristen Geil to the team. Getting up there on the list of great things happening, Women’s Health chose me to be an Action Hero, helping to spread the word about RUN10FEED10, which helps to feed hungry people in Chicago. (Get excited for RUN10FEED10 October 19, Chicago). While there’s a lot to do along the way to help end hunger across the United States, the Action Heroes also get to try out some great products from even greater brands along the way.

First on the docket, Women’s Health fit Club, a hub that brings you video workouts from fitness gurus and gyms including ExhaleWomen’s Health’s next fitness star, Stacie ClarkSimone De La Rue of Body by Simone; and trainer to the stars Kristen McGee.

If you travel or know that you’re in for some nights when you’re going to miss your favorite class, the videos will give you the kick in the tush you need to stick to your routine. Ranging from quick videos to full-length fitness classes, workouts run the gamut from yoga to Pilates to barre to circuit training – there’s something for everyone. These routines are accessible if you’re on the go – some feature light weights and others use my favorite portable tool – a jump rope. For those of you trapped at a hotel without a gym (gasp), some just use my favorite shape-up tool: body weight.

I know sometimes when I travel, I have the best intentions to do a full body weight routine in my hotel room, but when it comes down to it, if I don’t have a full plan created, I lack the follow through. This is why I fell in love with group fitness in the first place: the instructor’s enthusiasm is contagious. So if you’re lacking the motivation to do it yourself, step off of your hotel bed and let these trainers be your guide.

At just over $15/month, you can access all of the video content you can handle. Or you can upgrade to the three-month plan for $40.

When would you use these videos workouts?
