The Best Nonalcoholic Seltzers and Beers to Try Before Summer Ends
Warm, sunny, summer days are the perfect time to try fun new beverages. From patio hangs to neighborhood BBQs, the opportunities for enjoying refreshing drinks are endless. Sometimes, you may prefer to opt for a nonalcoholic option (especially in the heat) but not feel as if you’re missing out on social engagements.
Which nonalcoholic seltzers and beers are worth trying this season? We tapped (pun intented) Hilary Sheinbaum, author of The Dry Challenge, for her current favorites and are sharing our own picks too. Continue reading to learn more about some of the best nonalcoholic options to try before the end of summer.

Nonalcoholic seltzer
Waterloo Seltzer: Recommended by Sheinbaum (who partnered with the brand for a limited-edition Dry July NA cocktail kit!), Waterloo is a great, flavorful sparkling water option. My personal go-to flavors are black cherry and grape. The brand truly offers something for everyone while supporting a healthy, active lifestyle.
Spindrift: Move over plain, boring, flavorless water! Spindrift contains real fruit, packing a flavorful punch in every sip. Oftentimes seltzers/sparkling waters can be lacking in flavor, but Spindrift definitely stands out with their use of quality ingredients. The lemon is my absolute favorite (it’s very fresh tasting), but the raspberry lime is a close second!
Nonalcoholic beer
Are nonalcoholic beers more your speed? We recommend giving Big Drop a try! A favorite of Sheinbaum’s, Big Drop uses a wide range of specialty grains to give different product ranges unique tastes and aromas, without compromising on taste. From IPAs to pale ales, there’s something for everyone!
If you’re a beer fan but looking for something nonalcoholic, also consider giving hop water a try. We rounded up the best hop waters to add to your bar cart.
