Thanks for your interest in contributing to aSweatLife! We’re always excited to hear from diverse voices who are passionate about health, wellness, goal-setting, and everything in between.

At this time, our columnist roster is full, but we accept guest submissions from health and wellness experts who want to reach aSweatLife’s audience and increase their professional exposure. We share each piece of content on the main slider of our website, in our weekly newsletter, and on our social media channels, and we tag our guest posters for extra reach.

If that’s what you’re looking for, read on for details about what we cover, how we cover it, and how to submit a piece.

What aSweatLife covers

aSweatLife empowers *all* goal-driven women to achieve their goals through our wellness-based digital media platform. Each piece of content relates, implicitly or explicitly, to some aspect of goal-setting/achieving or a specific goal a reader might have. We talk about goals enthusiastically but realistically: we love setting pie-in-the-sky goals to hit, but we realize that life happens, goals pivot (or fall by the wayside), and we give ourselves grace when that happens.

Examples

  • Pieces about the how to’s and strategies of goal-setting, always
  • Pieces with advice for achieving specific goals in our key categories: fitness, nutrition, mental health, relationships, travel, work and money, and more.
  • Interviews with experts who have set and achieved big goals, sharing their learnings with our audience
  • There is space for general lifestyle content on the blog, but you may be asked how it relates to goals and your editor may suggest a different direction in order to stay focused on this niche.

Anything on our site is written with the intention of showing readers how to live a more full life, whether that’s by explaining the science behind the latest wellness trend or gushing about a favorite new cooking gadget. Each piece should have an actionable takeaway, too; our reader should finish your piece with a clear sense of what’s next if they’re pursuing that particular goal.

Finally, we trust our contributors, and we always want you to write about what truly excites you. If you’re passionate about something, you can bet that we want to hear all about it. Your piece should sound like only YOU could have written it, so don’t be afraid to show some personality. We’re especially excited to continue featuring diverse voices from the BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities with unique perspectives on all things goal setting, health, and wellness.
