The Fab Fit take:
The class felt more paced and rhythmic than any barre class I’d taken. The routine started on the mat with some classic yoga poses, toning arms and seat. Moving to the barre, the workout moved onto thighs. It wasn’t the toughest thigh series I’ve ever done, but I did max out my muscles.
The ab series was interesting. Everyone in the room sat below the barre with our backs to the wall and did a series of leg lifts. It’s a lot tougher than it sounds. I felt like I had work to do on my abs after doing this series.
The verdict: I’d take the class again, but with its more zen outlook on barre and my search for quick, intense workouts, I can’t justify the $7 price difference between Core Fusion Barre and Barre Bee Fit.
