The first hour of the event will concentrate on volleyball skills to help players learn the game and work on their skills. The second hour will apply the new skills in a scrimmage where the instructor offers additional advice to help you improve and better learn the game.

CorePower Yoga Old Town : Flight Class

This 75-minute class will take attendees through all formats at Core Power Yoga including C1, C2, Yoga Sculpt and Hot Power fusion. You’ll go through an evolution in the time from a beginner class to a class that incorporates weights to the hottest offering – Hot Power Fusion, which is the studio’s ultimate hip-opener and detox class.

ENRGi Fitness – Warrior Conditioning

6/10/2016 – 12 PM – River North

Ready to become a true workout warrior? This amazing, 50-minute, full body, circuit style workout will test the limit of your strength, endurance, balance, agility and will power. You’ll be put through a strength circuit utilizing weights, battle ropes, sandbags, medicine balls, kettle bells and more.  Then you’ll head upstairs to melt the fat with a cardio circuit incorporating treadmills, stationary bikes, rowers and stairs!

Some exercises will feature high impact exercises and/or lateral movements, so warriors with ankle, knee or back injuries please use caution. Modifications will be given for each exercise, so all levels are welcome.

In this boxing workout, professional trainers teach you boxing techniques that strengthen your whole body, increase your endurance, build muscle and boost your confidence. Combined with cardio and toning exercises, this boxing workout produces unbelievable results. Expect a 15-minute “warm-up,” 30 minutes of boxing combos and an intense 15-minute ab series.

This 60-minute Floor Lab class incorporates cardio, strength training, stretching and recovery for a 60-minute workout that systematically improves flexibility and endurance, while strengthening and sculpting muscles.

Pure Barre Lincoln Park – Barre Class

In just 55 minutes you will achieve a full-body workout concentrating on the areas women struggle with the most: hips, thighs, seat, abdominals and arms. The Pure Barre technique is low-impact, protecting your joints by avoiding any bouncing or jumping. Each strength section of the workout is followed by a stretching section in order to create long, lean muscles without bulk. The technique works to defy gravity by tapering everything in and lifting it up!

CrossTown Fitness Northside – Total Body

These Total Body classes are a 50-minute workout that incorporates strength and endurance exercises to challenge you differently every day! No class is ever the same. Trainers design each class to include 25 to 30 minutes of interval cardiovascular routines and 25-30 minutes of strength training using free weights, TRX, kettlebells, battle ropes and much more.

Exhale Gold Coast – Core fusion Extreme

Grab a towel. In this HIIT class you’ll move through five power stations (TRX, weights, gliders, plyo-box, and core balls) with mini active breaks in-between. The routine changes monthly so the workout — and the challenge — stays fresh. 

CorePower Yoga Old Town – Hot Power Fusion

A true blend of balance, strength and flexibility, Hot Power Fusion combines the meditative, detoxifying qualities of hot yoga with the intensity of power yoga to help you deepen your practice. Set to motivating music, you’ll focus on postures that open the shoulders, hips and spine while strengthening your core and upper body.

YogaSix Lincoln Park – Deep Stretch

An active deep stretch targeting primary muscles and connective tissues surrounding the hips, hamstrings and upper back. Releases tension, prevents injury and promotes active recovery.

SWEAT – Total Body

SWEAT combines High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) with innovative athletic movements, strength training, and metabolic conditioning.  SWEAT is for any fitness level, everything can be modified to fit your fitness level whether you haven’t worked out in ten years, or are a college athlete.

Each 60-minutes class uses dumbbells, barbells, kettles, treadmills, rowers, bands, med balls, boxes and much more to get you SWEATY!
