This month’s #TrainersConnect will pair a workout with a workshop, starting with a partner-based climbing challenge at Brooklyn Boulders.
First, try your hand at the furniture flash by attempting to move your body fully around a bench without any part of your body touching the ground. Then, you and your partner will move on to swinging rings, attempting to traverse the space on big, swinging rings. Finally, you and your partner will take on a bouldering challenge (no harness required) called the V Sum challenge.
There will also be a nutrition seminar with Allison Parker, MS, LDN and Director of Nutrition Science and Partnerships at the National Dairy Council. Allison will talk through key tips to remind your clients and class participants and send you home with more reminders and key facts in printed PDF format.
And you’ll be fed delicious snacks as part of the workshop (and because who can really learn on an empty stomach, anyway?)
