[solidcore] just landed in Chicago and we’re excited to bring you into its doors for #SweatworkingWeek. It’s a high-intensity, low-impact 50-minute session that’s done as slow as possible to lengthen and tone your body. Don’t let the slow fool you … it’s hard. You can expect a full–body session using controlled movements on a resistance-based machine to work your slow and fast-twitch muscles to the point of failure. Expect your core to be crying Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. We’ll take on 3 separate sessions of this workout, at 6, 7 and 8 pm so be sure to sign up for a time that works better for you.

#SweatworkingWeek is like restaurant week for fitness and is our favorite week of the year. We’ve hosted three total and we’re in the midst of planning our fourth – but it’s a week that fuses our passion for creating community with our event planning and logistics experience we’ve gained from hosting more than four years of monthly #Sweatworking events.

The next #SweatworkingWeek will run from January 8-13, with a fitness festival closing it out this year. The fitness festival will take place at the venue Morgan’s on Fulton and will have two concurrently running fitness studios – one with equipment and one with only bodyweight classes.

    About Dani Kruger

As a proud New Englander at heart, Dani loves the outdoors and anything maple-flavored. After graduating from the University of Michigan and living for a brief time in DC, she moved to Chicago where she developed a passion for fitness and biking. Dani's competitive nature is no secret, whether she's trying to do yoga at all of the state capitol buildings (19 so far!) or seeing how far she can push herself in group fitness classes. By day, she nerds out behind the computer as a researcher and data analyst for a health care consulting firm, where she works to ensure all individuals have timely access to high quality health care services.
