Remix My Training With Liu Gross, Push-up Edition

When we have a creative block when it comes to fitness programming, friend of aSweatLife Liu Gross is the first text or email we send. He’s constantly challenging athletes’ mobility, stability, agility and strength in the movement progression he offers.

So when Liu told us about his concept, Remix My Training, which takes perfectly good exercises and amps them up, we knew we had to share his ideas with you here. He already brought some newness to your burpee – he added in a duck walk, which looks funny, but feels so real.

After that, we asked you what you wanted to see Liu remix and the push-up was at the top of the the list.  Liu walks you through a push-up and after he goes through perfect push-up form first – he is a stickler for form, so he emphasizes getting it perfect, first – then he adds a progression.

In this progression, Liu is adding a step outside of the same-side hand, bringing some mobility into the move.
