Infuse Your Day With Inspiration at a #SweatworkingWeek Lunch and Learn

If this week at work is shaping up to be a doozy, we have you covered for a 45-minute escape, starting tomorrow.

When we say #SweatworkingWeek, we mean it (emphasis on the “week”). Monday through Thursday at 12 pm this week, we’re providing you with Lunch and Learn sessions right in the heart of River North. Step away from your desk for some delicious lunch from Snap Kitchen, meet fellow #SweatworkingWeek attendees outside of a sweaty workout context and hear inspirational Chicagoans share their stories.

First up, Jenn Junk, Executive Director of Recovery on Water will talk about how she combined her passion with knowledge and a desire to do good. Recovery on Water is a rowing team that gives survivors of breast cancer the unique opportunity to interact, become active in their recovery, and gain support from fellow survivors.

Recovery On Water offers a novice and masters program; people can come from all walks of life to find the right workout to meet their needs. ROW also offers an indoor community rowing program where two days a week, the facilities are free and open to the public for a community class.

Whether you’re interested in getting in on some rowing action yourself, supporting Recovery On Water or just hearing Jenn’s inspiring story and snagging lunch for $5 (all proceeds benefit the Greater Chicago Food Depository), this lunch is going to be well worth 45 minutes of your time. We’ll see you at the Breather location, 720 N. Franklin St. #1 tomorrow.
