{Giveaway Closed} 5 Class Dailey Method Giveaway

asweatlife fabfitchicago Dailey Method Giveaway chicago fitness giveaway

I’m going to start carrying around a calendar just so that I can immediately start responding with the number of days we actualIy have left in summer when people say, “summer is coming to a close.” We’ve got until September 22, people. Cherish it. Since we’ve got an entire third of summer left, the Dailey Method in a partnership with Jockey Women, is helping us to celebrate what we have left with a five class Dailey Method Giveaway.

Kristen and I hit up the Dailey Method in Bucktown earlier this summer for an event themed around the launch of Jockey’s new bra sizing system, Jockey Fit Kit. We took in a mini class, got a mani and took home the bra that jockey says will fit better than anything you’ve ever gotten before. All in all, a high quality night.

If you’ve never tried the Dailey Method, it’s a barre class that has obvious roots in the Lotte Berk method (the method that started the barre craze) along with new ways to tone up at the ballet barre. When I stepped foot in the Dailey Method in Chicago for the first time, I was taking barre classes nearly exclusively. Here’s what I thought:

The emphasis on form came through in the way that the class was taught. The instructor corrected on alignment throughout the class and no one slipped through the cracks, which is great if you feel like slacking and need someone to call you out.’
