The Fab Fit take:

If you’re doing crazy, high intensity workouts and you’re not doing yoga, your body is probably as lopsided as mine is right now. I walked into Yoga View and my body was ready for some om – from sitting in meetings to swinging kettle bells over my head, I needed to balance it all out.

Sara’s class was perfect. On the Friday after Thanksgiving, it was almost guaranteed that everyone in class had a case of the “toos”  – too much to drink, too much to eat or just sitting around too much. She took the packed class through a Vinyasa flow that focused on digestion and hip openers. It was absolutely perfect for the day and the season.

The level of the class was a challenge that allowed yogis to test flexibility, balance and inversions. Sara centered the practice on the “full plate” of life during the holiday season – between holiday parties, family events and just trying to stay above water at work – it’s hard to fit yoga into your routine. She also slipped in a joke or two, which I appreciated.

Yoga View is a community-centered studio where the yogis know each other and love the teachers. Try this class to take your practice up a notch and to clear a little something off of your full plate.
